Jedi Knight Kayda Guerrin is the sort of Jedi that does not stand out in a crowd. A product of the war with the Sith Empire, she is one of the countless knights who have never truly known peace. The war gave her scars both physical and mental. Like many other Jedi, she avoids all but the most basic armor, relying more on speed and agility to avoid harm in battle.

It is worth noting that this knight’s self-imposed exile following the destruction of the Teya IV temple led to her adopting a mode of dress more deviant from the norm for Jedi knights, possibly as a defense mechanism in societies where our kind are less welcome. Latest update puts her wearing the following:

Kayda is essentially a fairly average Jedi. Her range of skills is somewhat limited, but to those who know her she is known to be quite skilled with telekinesis.

From her rise to the rank of Padawan learner to shortly after the signing of the Treaty of Coruscant, Jedi Knight Kayda Guerrin was at war. She spent more time on the battlefield, following her master throughout the galaxy, learning at his side until she passed the trials of knighthood over a period of two years, starting shortly after her 14th birthday. Only sparse reports exist of her time in exile, none of them relevant for reference herein.

Following her rise to knighthood, she only occasionally fought alongside her old master, but remained fairly close to him. As is not unusual for warborn Jedi like her, few of her close associates still live.

Her old master died during the destruction of the Teya IV temple.

Personality analysis of candidate.

The loss of her master and her home temple has left Jedi Knight Guerrin cold and distant compared to many other Jedi. She spent several years in exile to recover, which appears to have helped her recover to some degree. Both prior to and after the exile, she was known to be helpful to others, offering advice and guidance with a level of wisdom beyond her years.

However, she is visibly traumatized by the war, phasing out when certain triggers are triggered.
